Level Zero Heroes Earn 8–3 Victory in Wisconsin While Raising Funds for SameYou

August 1st, 2026 | Middleton, Wisconsin
Level Zero Heroes Hockey traveled north to Middleton, Wisconsin, on Saturday morning and came away with an 8-3 victory over the Madison Warriors at Bob Suter's LEGACY20 Arena. While the result on the ice was a successful one, the true victory extended well beyond the final score.
Hosted by the Madison Warriors, the game brought together athletes united by a shared appreciation for hockey, service, and community. Fans in attendance also helped raise more than $300 in support of SameYou, the international brain injury recovery charity that Level Zero Heroes Hockey has proudly supported since 2019.
LZH is incredibly grateful to the Madison Warriors for their invitation and outstanding hospitality,. Relationships like these remind us that hockey has the power to bring people together for something much bigger than the game itself.
Founded in Chicago in 2016, Level Zero Heroes Hockey continues its mission of uniting veterans, active military, first responders and civilians while using the game of hockey to raise awareness and support for brain injury survivors. Every fundraiser associated with LZH directs 100% of donations to SameYou, helping expand access to rehabilitation and recovery programs around the world.
Saturday's game also served as another important step in preparing the team for its upcoming international schedule. Next on the calendar is Operation Black Forest, as Level Zero Heroes travels to Germany this September to compete in an international hockey tournament while continuing its mission on the global stage.
The organization extends its sincere appreciation to the Madison Warriors, the fans who attended, and everyone who donated in support of SameYou.
Final Score
