Level Zero Heroes Hockey – Mission Statement

Level Zero Heroes Hockey was founded in 2016 in Chicago, IL with one purpose: to unite Civilians, First Responders, and Military Veterans through the unmatched brotherhood and sisterhood of hockey. We exist to create lasting social connections, strengthen community bonds, and use the sport as a vessel for real, meaningful impact.

Since 2019, we have proudly committed 100% of our fundraising efforts to the SameYou Foundation, a global leader dedicated to improving access to brain injury rehabilitation. Although Level Zero Heroes Hockey is not a charity and does not accept donations directly, every fundraising effort we undertake is conducted in partnership with—and solely for—SameYou and its mission.

Our community welcomes Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, Veterans, First Responders, and select Civilians. We require no disability rating, no governing-body affiliation, and no barriers to belonging. What matters is your character, your commitment, and your willingness to skate with purpose.

Together, we strive to raise awareness, support brain injury recovery worldwide, and bring people together through the sport we love.
