At Level Zero Heroes Hockey, we’ve always believed that the word hero isn’t defined by a jersey, a badge, or a title, it’s defined by heart.

This May, as our team travels overseas to compete in the Netherlands and spready awareness for our beloved SameYou, we do so with a deeper purpose. Every stride we take, every shift we battle through, and every puck we chase will be played in honor of someone who reminds us what true courage looks like.

Our 2026 Netherlands Tournament is proudly dedicated to Pearce.

Though small in stature, Pearce represents the very spirit that fuels our mission, resilience, bravery, and the will to keep fighting no matter the circumstances. He embodies the truth that survivors and heroes come in all shapes and sizes.

When our players step onto the ice in May, they won’t just be representing Level Zero Heroes Hockey or the communities we serve, they’ll be carrying Pearce’s fight with them across the ocean.

This dedication is more than symbolic. It’s a reminder of why we lace up in the first place:

To raise awareness.
To support recovery.
To give a voice to those battling challenges far greater than the game itself.
