#88 Bravo: Two Teams, One Ice, One Friend We’ll Never Forget

On Sunday, November 15, 2026, Level Zero Heroes Hockey returns to Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, for a game that will mean far more than what appears on the scoreboard.

As part of the Chicago Wolves’ Military Appreciation program and the 5th Annual Wolves Warrior Classic, Level Zero Heroes Hockey will face the Nighthawks at 10:30 a.m. But this year, the two teams will share the ice with another purpose: remembering #88 Raul Bravo.

More Than a Hockey Game

Raul Bravo was a friend and supporter of Level Zero Heroes during the early years of our organization. He believed in what we were building, showed up for us and became part of the extended LZH family.

Raul was also a member of the Nighthawks, making this matchup especially meaningful. Two teams that were part of his hockey life will come together on the same ice to honor his memory.

Raul passed away unexpectedly in 2021 at only 37 years old. Five years later, his presence is still felt by the people who knew him, played alongside him, and called him a friend.

Some people never truly leave the bench.

#88 — We Remember

For this game, Level Zero Heroes will take the ice wearing a custom #88 Bravo memorial jersey, created specifically to remember Raul. The design represents remembrance, friendship, tradition, and the belief that the people who help shape our journey remain part of it long after they're gone.

This isn't simply another jersey.

It's our way of carrying #88 back onto the ice with us.

Hockey With a Purpose

The game will also continue the mission that has driven Level Zero Heroes for years. Ticket proceeds will benefit our beloved SameYou, helping support its work for people rebuilding their lives following brain injury.

Since 2019, LZH has proudly used hockey as a platform to raise awareness and funds for SameYou. We don't raise money to support our hockey habit. 100% of our fundraising campaigns go directly toward the SameYou mission.

So, on November 15, we'll play for the survivors we continue to stand besides, for the mission we believe in and for a friend we haven't forgotten.
