The 2021 Summer Season Begins and so does LZH Monthly

by Level Zero Heroes

Chicago, IL - LZH Monthly will be a series that analyzes Level Zero Heroes and how they performed throughout the previous month throughout the Veterans Hockey League season. Each article will discuss what went right for the team, what didn’t, as well as the best highlights, player, and game for the month.

Each edition also takes a peek at what the next month looks like for the LZH.

LZH just played their first game of the season this past weekend and before that the team has not played in league play since August 9th 2020, so rather than discussing the month we’ve just finished, we will give a brief recap on what the team has been up too during the off season.

LZH War Games:

Keeping busy during the pandemic, Level Zero Heroes have been hosting local area teams in exhibition play in Chicago and in Hammond, Indiana. Level Zero Heroes uses the exhibition games to not only stay on the ice, but to also spread awareness and raise funds for the SameYou foundation.

NEW Players:

Level Zero Heroes welcomes Marine Corps Veteran Brian Stack and Army Veteran Sam Weinstein to the team. Welcome aboard boys!

Finally:

While we may be getting ahead of ourselves to think about where the team will finish this season, all ten regular season games are important since the VHL does not have a playoff so all teams will be battling for position on day one.
